UF students, faculty and staff may ride RTS public transportation fare-free by presenting a Gator 1 card. RTS offers multiple bus routes on campus with service to every area of the University, as well as routes throughout the City of Gainesville.

TransLoc is the app used to track University shuttles in real-time. The TransLoc app is available for both iOS and Android devices. The app has improved shuttle location services and projected arrival times, and arrival alerts are available to tell you when your ride is approaching.

How does RTS work demand?

RTS On Demand is a type of ride sharing service. Additional customers may be picked up and dropped off during your ride, or while you are waiting for your ride, and this may affect your pick up time. You will receive pick-up time updates through the app, or by calling Customer Service.

Gator Lift provides reliable, convenient and free shuttle service to accessible locations within the boundaries of the campus of the University of Florida for students, faculty and staff with mobility related disabilities. Gator Lift service is provided Monday – Friday from 7 AM – 11 PM.

  2. Text RTS [stop code] to 41411. Be sure to text the word RTS, a space, and then the actual stop code number. Without a stop code you will be presented a list of routes to choose from.
