Participants & Eligibility: Contestants must be at least 16 years of age (under 18 with parental consent) Must pay yearly $50.00 member dues prior to fishing. There will be no points awarded and you will not qualify for the Bassmaster Challenge.

How do you qualify for B.A.S.S. elites?
Competitors must qualify for the series through the Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Opens or the B.A.S.S. Nation, and anglers who are already on the Elite Series must re-qualify each year by maintaining enough points throughout the season.
How do you qualify for Bass Open?
To register you must meet the following requirements:
- Has not competed as a boater/pro in a MLF Major or BASS Elite Series event within the last two years immediately preceding the BPO event being entered.
- Anglers have not ever paid an entry fee greater than $2,500.
Do MLF anglers get paid?
For the Knockout Round, Major League Fishing will test a 2-pound minimum for scoreable bass. In the Championship Round, MLF will test a 3-pound minimum on scoreable bass on the Kissimmee Chain. The full field of 30 anglers will receive a minimum payout of $6,000 and the tournament winner will earn $100,000.
