How is the International Dance Teachers’Association ( IDTA )?

Such an friendly ‘inclusive Organisation’ examiners who are so kind & welcoming to all of our pupils & staff. The children always come out of exam sessions (rosettes, assessments, grades) with huge smile’s on their faces. (This is what dance should be about) My pupils have gained so much confidence & progressed so well within the IDTA Association.

How old do you have to be to take IDTA Ballet?

My child is doing grade 1 IDTA ballet. She’s 6 and has been doing class for almost a year and a half. She’s several months off being 7, which seems to be the required age for doing that grade, so will miss out when the class do their exams.

Do you have to be IDTA member to join IDTA?

It is our hope that you will use this site to find the answers to questions you may have and to gather the documents and forms that you may need for your team and/or competitions. If you are not a current member of IDTA, we encourage you to consider joining!

How many countries have watched the IDTA Congress?

When is the IDTA freestyle and street scholarships competition?

The IDTA are pleased to announce the timetable of events for this years’ Freestyle and Street Scholarships competition! IDTA Congress 2021 is coming…. The IDTA Supreme Awards competition will be on Sunday 19th September 2021, subject to the COVID regulations in force at the time.

Is there a way to keep the IDTA dancing?

COVID-19. To keep the IDTA dancing we are taking events ONLINE. The entries for our first event is the Global Lockdance Festival have now closed, and results will be announced soon.
